Uber; INCOME – COSTS = LOSS

ZERO PROFIT

previously in the NRMA running cost quote i did NOT include insurance.

i would assume the car insurance would be void if they were using the vehicle for uber work.

most of the Uber drivers appear to be under 25 years old.
let assume they had full comprehensive insurance.
under 25, experience driver, high drivers rating
full comprehensive insurance would at least $2 000 with a high excess ( at least $850)

if we drop the fuel price to $1.45

the operating cost would be 85.65c / km
the driver is only getting 75 c / km from UBER
They would operate at at Loss
INCOME – COSTS = LOSS
