Uber comes to agreement in South Australia

Ride-sharing service Uber has come to an agreement with the South Australian government about its accreditation to operate in the state.

Transport Minister Stephen Mullighan says Uber has confirmed it will apply for accreditation as a Centralised Booking Service next week, bringing its transport services within state regulations.

Uber has been offering ride-sharing services in SA since May last year but the global giant has technically been operating illegally because of a lack of accreditation.
